Saved Our Marriage

 

A little over 4 years ago when we went through a period in our lives that we wouldn’t wish on anyone.

 

We went through hell and back

 

Nathan had been working in a high pressure environment for a couple of years which had taken a bit of a toll. We had a good group of work friends around us and although it wasn’t perfect we were pretty comfortable.

 

Then almost overnight our world was turned on its head.

 

Literally within a week Nathan was given notice that his work contract was not going to be renewed and we received a letter in the mail saying our landlord had sold the home we were living in and we had to move out. Suddenly we were in a position with no income or place to live and as a large number of our friends had been from Nathan’s work we suddenly felt very isolated and alone.  

To make things worse the pressure of the situation led to us experiencing a miscarriage and suddenly all that we felt secure in was gone.

We also felt like no-one understood what we were going through which made it very difficult to get help, something we would later discover is not that uncommon. If this is you please keep reading because there is hope.
